Museen spiegeln in Form von Gegenständen, Texten, Ton, Gemälden, Briefen usw. die Vergangenheit, lassen die Gegenwart verstehen und manchmal sogar einen Blick in die Zukunft werfen. Sie sind die Bewahrungsstätten von Kultur und Geschichte und damit ein besonderer Ort außerschulischen Lernens.
Museum ist nicht gleich Museum. Der Film entführt die Schüler:innen in verschiedene Arten von Museen, so unter anderem in ein archäologisches Museum, Technik-Museum, Stadtmuseum oder auch Freilichtmuseum. Dabei liegt der Schwerpunkt nicht nur auf den Ausstellungen und beispielsweise deren Planungen selbst, sondern beleuchtet auch die Arbeit hinter den Kulissen: Restauration, Schreinerei, Marketing, Poststelle und vieles mehr.
Zu guter Letzt beinhaltet der Film Aspekte zur Museumsetikette – dem richtigen Verhalten in einem Museum.
Interaktive Aufgaben, Testfragen und Glossar wurden mit H5P erstellt und können ohne weitere Software verwendet werden.

But how is a newspaper created? The film shows the production of a paper in the course of one day. Starting with the editorial meeting in the morning, in which the topics and deadlines are determined, the film accompanies a journalist during her research work. You can see how a journalistic interview is conducted and what the photographer must consider when taking a press photo. Back in the editorial office, the editor’s work is illustrated, which includes the page layout and the writing of an online article in today’s time. Impressive pictures from the printing centre depict the process from the digital page to the finished newspaper.
